Still have questions?

Tell us what you pack and on which machine. A packaging engineer will get back to you within 24 hours on working days.

Ordering

  • How is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) confirmed?

MOQ depends on the product, the material structure, the size and the printing – a printed laminated pouch and a plain co-extruded vacuum bag run on different lines. Tell us what you need and we confirm the MOQ together with your quotation. If your volume is small, ask anyway: we will tell you openly what is possible.

  • What information do you need for a quotation?

The food you pack, its storage or heating conditions (chilled, frozen, cooked in the pack), the bag or film type and size, the thickness or structure if you know it, printing requirements, the estimated quantity and unit, and the packaging machine you use. “Not sure” is a fine answer – our engineers can propose a structure. Send an inquiry.

  • What information determines the lead time?

Lead time depends on the structure, whether new printing cylinders or plates are needed, the order quantity and the production schedule at the time of order. Once structure, size, printing and quantity are confirmed, we give you a delivery date with the quotation or order confirmation – share your target date early so we can plan for it.

  • What happens after I send an inquiry?

Five steps: inquiry, where we go through the packed product, the machine and the specification with you; quotation and samples; order and payment, once specification, quantity and delivery date are agreed; production with in-process and pre-shipment quality control; then shipping, with the documents and tracking information for your shipment.

  • Can several products be combined in one order?

Yes – an order can cover more than one bag or film type, for example vacuum bags for one line and thermoforming film for another. Each item keeps its own specification and is quoted on its own; whether the items can be produced and shipped together depends on the structures involved and on the production schedule. List everything you need in your inquiry and we plan it as one project.

Samples & Trials

  • Can I get samples, and who pays the freight?

Yes, we provide samples for evaluation. Whether they come from existing stock or are made to your size, and how freight is handled, depends on the product and on the quantity needed for a meaningful trial. We confirm the arrangement with you before anything is sent.

  • Will your film or bags run on my packaging machine?

Tell us the machine type and model – chamber vacuum, thermoformer, VSP, flow-wrap or form-fill-seal – and the settings you use today. Our recommendation is a first proposal; we confirm it with samples tested on your own machine before production.

  • What do you need from us before a sample trial?

The product you pack and its weight or dimensions, the machine type and model, the bag or film size you run today, the sealing and forming temperatures if you know them, and the storage or heating conditions the pack has to survive. The closer the sample is to your real line, the more the trial tells you – so send anything unusual about the product too, such as bones, sharp edges, sauce or high fat content.

  • What if the sample does not perform as expected on our line?

Send us the result with photos and, if you can, the machine settings you used. Most issues trace back to the structure, the thickness or the machine parameters; our engineers go through them with you and propose a revised sample. Production only starts once a sample you have run yourself has been approved.

Customisation

  • What can be customised?

Size, thickness, material structure (PA, PE, PP, EVOH or PVDC layers), bag format (flat, 3-side seal, stand-up, zipper, spout, shrink bag or rollstock) and printing – gravure or flexo, 3 to 11 colours. Vacuum bags and roll bags can also be embossed. Not every option suits every product, so our engineers confirm what works for yours.

  • Can you print our own artwork?

Yes. Send your artwork (vector AI or PDF preferred) and colour references. We check it against the bag or film size and the printing process and send you a proof to approve before production starts.

  • Which materials and structures do you work with?

PA, PE, PP, EVOH and PVDC, as mono-material film, multilayer co-extruded film or laminated structures, depending on the barrier, strength and sealing the pack needs. Total thickness is typically in the 70–180 µm range; anything outside it is to be confirmed with our engineers for your format and machine. See the product range for the structures behind each product.

  • Can the packs be frozen, or heated in the pack?

Some structures are specified for frozen storage down to −21 °C, and retort grades for sterilisation up to 121 °C. Not every structure covers every condition, and we do not assume a material is microwavable or ovenable unless it is specified for that. Describe the exact process – temperature, time and equipment – and we confirm which grade applies and verify it with samples.

Documents

  • How can I get test reports, TDS and certificates?

Technical data sheets are available on request for every product – see Downloads. Our in-house lab tests tensile and seal strength, puncture, shrinkage and barrier; test reports for your specific structure can be provided with samples or orders. Copies of our certificates are available on request.

  • Which certificates does Renature hold?

BRC (2025–2026), ISO 9001 (2025) and Halal certification. On the website the certificates are shown partly masked; full copies are sent on request to customers and prospective customers. You can see the thumbnails on the Capabilities page.

  • Are your films and bags made for food contact?

Yes – our films and bags are made for food packaging and the materials are selected for food contact use. Which compliance documents apply depends on your market and on the structure you order, so we confirm with you what can be supplied for your specification before the order is placed. Ask for the document list together with your quotation.
